Active Campaign:
Hurricane Preparedness
Hurricane season is here, and how best to Move Miami Forward than by focusing on keeping Miami-Dade families safe and ready. Through door-to-door conversations, volunteers and canvassers are sharing hurricane preparedness planning resources and asking neighbors about critical needs — like support for elders, access to emergency shelters, and household resilience planning.
We are also collecting community surveys to better understand:
Where you get information you can trust?
Who do you trust in your neighborhood if you need help?
Which issues matter most in your daily life — from affordable health care to how to make sure you’re not left behind by the new economy.
